Replacement details
Activated carbon pre-filter pads that replace Honeywell's Filter K (HRF-K2). The carbon layer adsorbs household odors and retains larger airborne debris before it reaches the main filter, which is what keeps the more expensive filter behind it working longer.
Specifications
- Pack size: 2 pads
- Dimensions: 20.5" x 5.75" — trim to size
- Media: Activated carbon on a polyester mesh
- Replaces: Honeywell Filter K / HRF-K2
- Color: Black
Features
- Cut to size with scissors — fits the listed Honeywell units as supplied, and can be trimmed for air purifiers, range hoods, vents and air conditioners
- Adsorbs cooking, pet and smoke odors rather than just circulating them
- Catches lint, hair and dust that would otherwise load up the main HEPA filter
- Replace every 3 months, or whenever the pad looks grey and loaded
