Fit and part numbers

Measure your old ring first

Seal sizes vary by brand and by model year. Lay your old ring flat and measure the inside diameter and the thickness: it should be close to 11.975 in x 0.275 in. Old rings stretch or swell a little, so expect a small difference.

Wipe the groove clean and apply a thin film of silicone O-ring lubricant before fitting. Never use petroleum grease on a Buna-N ring.

Buna-N is the standard material for pump lids, unions, valves and filter tanks. Chlorinator and chemical feeder lids need a Viton (FKM) ring instead.
