CFS Clear Water Filter Housing Kit, Carbon Block, Wrench, Bracket & Screws

The CFS Water Filter Housing Kit puts a complete filtration stage on a cold water line with nothing else to buy. Each kit includes a clear filter housing, one 5 micron activated carbon block cartridge, a spanner wrench, a wall mounting bracket and screws. The 1/2 in, 3/4 in and Big Blue housings have a red pressure relief button on the cap that releases pressure before a cartridge change. The top seated O-ring gasket makes for a clean seal and a fast swap, and the clear sump lets you see the cartridge, so you know when it is loaded without opening the housing.

Choose your size:

• 10 x 2.5 in, 1/4 in NPT ports: suits reverse osmosis systems and small point of use lines. Plain cap with no pressure relief button; shut off the water and open a downstream tap to release pressure before opening the housing.
• 10 x 2.5 in, 1/2 in NPT ports, with pressure relief button: suits under sink and single cold water lines.
• 10 x 2.5 in, 3/4 in NPT ports, with pressure relief button: suits whole house lines, well systems after the pressure tank, and municipal lines after the meter.
• 10 x 4.5 in Big Blue, 1 in NPT ports, with pressure relief button: takes 4.5 in diameter cartridges, not standard 2.5 in. The larger body holds more media and supports whole house flow rates.

• COMPLETE KIT, NOTHING ELSE TO BUY - Clear filter housing, one 5 micron carbon block cartridge, spanner wrench, wall mounting bracket and screws.
• REDUCES CHLORINE, TASTE AND ODOR - The included 5 micron activated carbon block cartridge reduces chlorine and the taste and odor that comes with it, and captures sediment and particles down to 5 micron. The 10 x 2.5 in CTO10 cartridge is rated to 2,500 gallons or 3 to 6 months depending on water quality.
• EASY PRESSURE RELEASE - On the 1/2 in, 3/4 in and Big Blue housings, press the red button on the cap to release pressure before opening the housing. On the 1/4 in housing, shut off the water and open a downstream tap. The 10 x 2.5 in housings are rated to 8 bar (116 psi) working pressure; the Big Blue to 80 psi.
• TAKES ANY STANDARD CARTRIDGE OF ITS SIZE - The 10 x 2.5 in housings take sediment, pleated, string wound, KDF or DI resin cartridges. The Big Blue takes any 10 x 4.5 in cartridge.
• COLD WATER USE ONLY - Do not install on hot water lines. Protect from freezing; freezing may crack the housing and cause leakage. Install using common plumbing hardware, not included.
