CFS Clear Water Filter Housing Kit, Carbon Block, Wrench, Bracket & Screws

The CFS Water Filter Housing Kit puts a complete filtration stage on a cold water line with nothing else to buy. The kit includes a clear 10 inch filter housing with 1/4 in NPT ports, one CTO10 5 micron activated carbon block cartridge, a spanner wrench, a wall mounting bracket and screws. The clear sump lets you see the cartridge, so you know when it is loaded without opening the housing. The top seated O-ring gasket makes for a clean seal and a fast cartridge change. The included carbon block cartridge reduces chlorine and the taste and odor that comes with it, and captures sediment and particles down to 5 micron. It is rated to 2,500 gallons or 3 to 6 months depending on water quality. The housing takes any standard 10 x 2.5 in cartridge, so you can change what the filter does as your water changes. Sediment, pleated, string wound, KDF and DI resin cartridges all fit the same housing. The 1/4 in port size suits reverse osmosis systems and small point of use lines. Shut off the water supply and open a downstream tap to release pressure before opening the housing. For cold water use only. Do not install on hot water lines. Protect from freezing.

• COLD WATER USE ONLY - Do not install on hot water lines. Protect from freezing; freezing may crack the housing and cause leakage. Install on copper or plastic cold water tubing using common plumbing hardware, not included.
