Replacement details
- A COMPLETE FIVE STAGE SERVICE - Polypropylene sediment, carbon block, inline post-filter and a 75 GPD reverse osmosis membrane. Every stage of a standard 10 in five stage system in one box, including the membrane most replacement sets leave out.
- CHECK YOUR MEMBRANE RATING - The membrane in this set is 75 GPD, the output ROES-75, ROES-UV75, ROES-PH75 and RO-PERM systems were built around. It also drops into 45 and 50 GPD positions as an upgrade. The three prefilters and the inline are universal across the range and fit every system listed below.
- HOW THE STAGES WORK - Sediment goes first and holds sand, silt, dirt and rust. The carbon block reduces chlorine along with the tastes and smells that ride with it, which also protects the membrane, since chlorine shortens membrane life. The membrane reduces total dissolved solids. The inline finishes the taste at the faucet.
- FITS APEC AND STANDARD 10 INCH SYSTEMS - The cartridges fit RO-90, RO-PH90, RO-PERM, ROES-75, ROES-UV75, ROES-PH75, ROES-PHUV75, RO-45, ROES-50, RO-PUMP, AvantaPure APPRO-50 and most systems using 10 by 2.5 in housings. Replaces FILTER-MAX90, FILTER-MAX-PH, FILTER-MAX-ES75, FILTER-MAX-ES50, FILTER-MAX-ESUV and FILTER-MAX-ESPH sets. Compatible replacement, not an original manufacturer part.
- MATCH THE FILTER TO YOUR WATER - Prefilters are changed more often than the membrane, so many owners keep a set on hand and replace the membrane on a longer cycle. Falling flow at the faucet points at the prefilters; a rising TDS reading points at the membrane.
A complete five piece service set for a standard 10 in five stage reverse osmosis system: a polypropylene sediment cartridge, a carbon block, the inline post-filter and a 75 GPD reverse osmosis membrane. One order covers every stage, including the membrane that most replacement sets leave out. The stages run in sequence and each makes the next work better. Sediment goes first and holds particulate, meaning sand, silt, dirt and rust, before it reaches anything behind it. The carbon block follows: because the carbon is compressed rather than packed loose, water cannot channel around it, which gives consistent contact while reducing chlorine and the tastes and smells that come with it. That job protects the most expensive component in the system, because chlorine reaching a thin film composite membrane shortens its working life. The membrane then does what carbon cannot and reduces total dissolved solids, rejecting the dissolved fraction to the drain under line pressure. The inline post-filter sits last, downstream of the membrane and the storage tank, finishing the taste of stored water on its way to the faucet. On membrane rating: the element here is 75 GPD, the output ROES-75, ROES-UV75, ROES-PH75 and RO-PERM systems were built around, and it also drops into 45 and 50 GPD positions as an upgrade. The three prefilters and the inline are universal across the range. Fitment covers RO-90, RO-PH90, RO-PERM, ROES-75, ROES-UV75, ROES-PH75, ROES-PHUV75, RO-45, ROES-50, RO-PUMP and AvantaPure APPRO-50 positions, and it replaces the FILTER-MAX90, FILTER-MAX-PH, FILTER-MAX-ES75, FILTER-MAX-ES50, FILTER-MAX-ESUV and FILTER-MAX-ESPH sets. These are compatible replacements and not original manufacturer parts. Complete Filtration Services has built and supplied replacement filtration since 2006.
