CFS is an independent brand. These are compatible replacement O-rings, not OEM parts. Part numbers and brand names are used only to show fit.

  • THREE REPLACEMENT HOUSING O-RINGS - A spare set for the seal between a filter housing sump and its cap. Buna-N nitrile rubber, the standard material for potable water housings. Three in a pack means the next two changes are already on the shelf.
  • CHANGE THE O-RING WITH THE CARTRIDGE - A flattened or dried seal is what most housing leaks turn out to be, not cracked plastic. The ring takes a set after a year clamped between sump and cap, and once it stops springing back it weeps. Swapping it at the same time as the cartridge costs pennies and saves finding a puddle under the sink.
  • FITTING IT - Wipe the groove clean before the new ring goes in, seat it evenly all the way round, and use a silicone lubricant rated for potable water if you have it. Hand tighten the sump. Overtightening compresses the ring further than it needs and is the most common reason a housing seizes at the next change.
  • PART NUMBERS AND HOUSINGS - Replaces WS03X10038, OR-34, W34-OR, 151120, 151120-03, 151120-27, 01019184, 150071, WFAO150 and WFPF38001C. Fits GXWH01C, GXWH08C, GXWH04F, GXWH20F, GXWH20S, GXWH20T, GXRM10, GXRM10RBL, GX1S01R, GX1S15C, GXRV10ABL, GXSV10C, GXSL03C, HF-150, HF-150A, HF-160, HF-360, W34-PR, WC34-PR, WV34, WVC34, WH1, WH5, WH12, OB1, U25, 26264, 45025, 46764, PSCL-S1, PS-00 and PVHCL-S1, plus 10, 12 and 20 in housings with 3/4 in connections.
  • CHECK YOUR RING BEFORE ORDERING - Housing O-rings vary by manufacturer and by housing generation, so compare the ring you are replacing against the dimensions shown rather than going by the housing model alone. An O-ring that is close but not right will seat but will not hold pressure.

Replacement O-rings for the seal between a filter housing sump and its cap, in Buna-N nitrile rubber, which is the standard material for potable water housings. This is the part most people forget until they find water under the sink. The ring sits clamped between two plastic faces for a year at a time and takes a compression set. Once it stops springing back it stops sealing, and a housing that weeps is almost always a tired O-ring rather than cracked plastic. Changing it at the same time as the cartridge costs very little and removes the most common cause of a leak. Fitting is straightforward. Wipe the groove clean, seat the new ring evenly all the way round, and use a silicone lubricant rated for potable water if you have one to hand. Then hand tighten the sump. Overtightening squeezes the ring further than it needs to go and is the usual reason a housing is difficult to open at the next change, so the wrench is for loosening rather than closing. Replaces WS03X10038, OR-34, W34-OR, 151120, 151120-03, 151120-27, 01019184, 150071, WFAO150 and WFPF38001C, and fits the GXWH01C, GXWH08C, GXWH04F, GXWH20F, GXWH20S, GXWH20T, GXRM10, GXRM10RBL, GX1S01R, GX1S15C, GXRV10ABL, GXSV10C and GXSL03C positions, the HF-150, HF-150A, HF-160 and HF-360 series, W34-PR, WC34-PR, WV34 and WVC34, WH1, WH5, WH12, OB1 and U25, and 10, 12 and 20 in housings with 3/4 in connections. Housing O-rings do vary between manufacturers and between generations of the same housing, so compare the ring you are replacing against the dimensions listed rather than relying on the housing model alone. A ring that is close but not exact will seat and still fail to hold pressure. Complete Filtration Services has built and supplied replacement filtration since 2006.
