5 Micron Sediment depth filter is made of 100% pure polypropylene and delivers exceptional dirt-holding capacity. The true-grade density filter matrix (lower density at the surface of the filter with progressively higher density toward the center) captures particles throughout the entire filter depth to effectively capture sand, silt, dirt, scale and rust. This sediment water filter cartridge is designed and manufactured for resistance to a wide range of chemical solutions.
