The HydroGuard HDG-CB6-14 is a cost-effective alternative compatible with the Multipure CB6 Aquaversa replacement filter. This replacement cartridge can be used in any water filtration system that uses the CB6 cartridge, including the MultiPure 500 and 750 series systems.
The HDG-CB6-14 filter is made from coconut shell carbon with a rating of 0.5 micron. Polypropylene end caps and a secured outer wrap help protect the filter from larger particulate matter, improving longevity and efficiency while helping prevent premature clogging.
The high purity core acts as a one-stage filtration system suited to residential or commercial properties on municipal water. Adsorption-based filtration reduces chlorine, odors, bad tastes and other contaminants, while the 0.5 micron rated carbon reduces sediment including sand, silt and rust. The CB6 will not reduce minerals in the water supply.
The HydroGuard HDG-CB6-14 works well with home appliances such as icemakers, water dispensers, water fountains and coffee machines. Replace the filter every 12 months or before 750 gallons have been processed.
