Carbon block filter cartridge that reduces fine sediment, and chlorine taste and odor, in residential and commercial drinking water.

Specifications

• Nominal filtration rating: 10 microns (85% particle reduction efficiency)
• Media: bonded powdered activated carbon (PAC), wrapped in polyolefin with polyethylene outer netting
• Gaskets: nitrile butadiene rubber (Buna-N), sealing the cartridge against the housing (sold separately)
• Initial pressure drop: 4 psi at 4 gpm
• Temperature range: 40 to 180°F (4.4 to 82.2°C)
• Reduces free available chlorine (FAC) at 2 ppm by at least 90% over up to 30,000 gallons at a flow rate of 4 gpm
