This Hydronix HDG-P117 HydroGuard carbon filter has a particle retention size of 5 micron, and is suitable for drinking water filtration applications. This Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) filter reduces unpleasant taste and odor from drinking water and has a flow rate of 3 gallons per minute (gpm). It has a 2.5" outside diameter (OD), an overall length of 10", and an operating temperature range of 48 to 100 degrees F. This carbon filter meets FDA CFR 21 regulations for materials and is suitable for use in cold water dispensing applications.
